Nataraj & Venkat Architects was incorporated in 1982 at Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
The firm grew up with a basic philosophy of simplicity and functionalism and we have consciously tried to imbibe this in to our work, which ranges from Architectural Planning to Interiors. This, added with our service strength of Project Management skills and backed with intensively advanced CADD systems, allows us to grow dynamically as a multifaceted consultancy firm handling a wide spectrum of work.
Our Projects include educational institutions, residential developments, industrial structures, R&D centers, commercial buildings, user specific projects and Interiors; clients range from individuals to multinationals; our services spectrum encompasses Architectural works, Interior designing, Landscape designing, Engineering services, Quality control, Quantity surveying and Project management.
While Architectural, Interior Designing, Project Management, Tendering and related services are provided in-house by us, Landscape designing and Engineering services are provided through specialized consultants, who have not only been with us for a long time but are also associated with us in all our projects.
Engineering services encompasses Structural, Electrical, HVAC, Building Management, Fire safety and Plumbing.
Nataraj & Venkat Associates employ eighteen Architects, seven Engineers, fifteen CAD operators and six admin team on a full-time basis apart from the support staff. Everyone of them is provided with individual PCs.
Generally for every project, small or large, a project team is formed right at the outset, consisting of at least an Architect, an Engineer and a CAD operator. For this Project too we would be adopting a similar pattern. The team would consist of an Associate and the Chief Engineer along with two assisting Architect (s) a Project Engineer and two or three CAD operators as may be required. This, of course, will be apart from the specialized consultants who will be associated with us, as a team, for this project.
While the Associate will be directly responsible for the Architectural design, Interior design and Landscaping design along with his assistants, the consultants will be responsible for Engineering design and the Engineering team will be responsible for coordinating individuals / consultants efforts and for scheduling, costing etc
