COVID-19: Diet To Boost Immunity For Elderly People

3. Stay Hydrated 

See to it that you drink at least 8-9 glasses of water per day. It will help keep your mucus membrane moist while protecting you from contracting the virus easily. Soup, green tea, milk and even fruit juices can help you keep hydrated while being a tasty treat. 

4. Herbs and Roots 

Certain herbs like tulsi or the Indian basil and roots like ginger can help in soothing the throat while improving your immunity levels. Take this as a tea or include them by adding it to your daily meals.
